Substance is a research and technology company that makes organisations that do good, think smarter – and make more of a difference. We work across different sectors and with many types of organisations – charities, social businesses and government. Our core team is made up of highly-experienced social researchers, technologists and programme managers, each with their own specialisms. What we share is an ambition to make organisations that do good have a greater impact.
We give organisations the framework, tools and insight they need to increase understanding and the impact of their work. We do this by conducting research and creating new technologies that give organisations a better picture of their work. This could be through a app, a research project or a social audit of your organisation. We work collaboratively and imaginatively to create products and services that are right for each organisation and the people that work there.
