O2 Surftown Muc

o2 SURFTOWN® MUC is creating an artificial surfing facility on 20,000 square metres that is unique in Europe. Environmentally friendly and individually adjustable waves will offer professionals and beginners a unique sport, training and leisure experience. The entire system of the facility will be designed to be CO2-neutral. At the same time all electricity will be generated from renewable sources - 80 percent by the facility's own photovoltaic systems. The surf park in the immediate vicinity of Munich airport also serves as a place to relax with its sunbathing and lounge sections in the outdoor area. The opening is planned for early summer 2024. Catering and event areas, sunbathing areas and lounge zones with children's entertainment as well as a wide range of outdoor action sports provide a summer feeling.
