Established in 1985 by the Illinois State Board of Education to support local education professionals in northern Cook County (region 5), NCISC provides comprehensive training and resources to all levels of school operations and staff.
System of Support, which is funded through NCLB, works with schools and districts not achieving AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress).
