Education
My goal is to help prepare the healthcare professionals of tomorrow, fostering clinical excellence and leadership qualities that will have lasting impact. I’m passionate about sharing insights from my circuitous journey—from my early days as an ER doc to working in the insurance field, building an occupational medicine business, and now serving as President of PCOM for the past decade.
To lead effectively, start by being an outstanding clinician. When you excel in your field, you naturally earn the respect of those around you: your future colleagues and the teams you will guide. A great clinician commands respect not by dictating but by shaping how others think.
Also, don’t be afraid to change employers or positions within a company. The only person who can hold back your career aspirations is you!
These are the messages I hoped to leave at the 2024

Beyond the Wards Symposium, which connected many medical students and healthcare leaders from across the Philadelphia region.
Lead by example, and you’ll not only influence your peers but also inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
