Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation and Site Civil team, of the U.S. Central Sector, based in Chicago, Illinois office and have the opportunity to work on hydraulic/hydrologic analyses and designing appropriate drainage systems in close coordination with Roadway, Site Civil, and Structural Engineers.

Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation and Site Civil team, of the U.S. Central Sector, based in Chicago, Illinois office and have the opportunity to work on hydraulic/hydrologic analyses and designing appropriate drainage systems in close coordination with Roadway, Site Civil, and Structural Engineers.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Assist with on-site inspections and limited field assignments.
- Utilize CAD programs to assist in the preparation of plan drawings and details.
- Perform rudimentary calculations under the direction of a licensed engineer.
- Assist with preparation of technical specifications and reports.
- Perform material quantity take-offs.
- Organize design calculations.
- Assist project teams in meeting deadlines as needed.
- Experience with computer aided drafting and Microsoft Office products
- Punctuality and maturity – ability to work with minimal direction.
- Ability to work outdoors for limited field assignments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
