Co-op Opportunities – Testing & Development
Bollinger Motors is seeking ambitious and high-energy individuals to participate in our 2024/2025 Co-op program. You will work closely with team members on daily, real-world challenges and will help support our high-performance team to design and launch our products.
The interns chosen will finish their Co-op at Bollinger Motors having gained broad experience in various aspects of product life cycle, milestone deliverable management, and corporate structure through project-based assignments. This is an in-person role at the company’s Oak Park, MI headquarters.
The program is optimized for students, and applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university or trade school. Individuals who successfully demonstrate the qualities desirable for success at Bollinger Motors may be invited to return during semester breaks or selected to apply for full time opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute/assist instrumentation, data collection, data analysis, and generate reports for battery electric vehicle testing projects with guidance.
- Hardware, software, and/or electrical experiences are all welcome.
- Skilled in hand and power tools for small projects.
- Must be comfortable or willing to learn to drive Class 4 commercial vehicles for testing purposes.
- Must be able to train and obtain proving grounds driving license.
- Duties will be split between Oak Park and Chelsea Proving Grounds.

- MUST BE A STUDENT AT KETTERING UNIVERSITY
- Pursing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar degree.
- Positive, professional, and outgoing personality with the ability to work both in a team environment and directly with individuals.?
- Enthusiasm and desire to learn and be successful in vehicle development.?
- Self-starter that is punctual with a strong work ethic.?
- Highly organized, self-managed
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.?
- Strong ability to be flexible and multi-task.?
- Available for minimum 20+ hours a week
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must be able to work in the United States.
