Job Opportunity: Superstructure Project Engineer – UK
We are seeking a Superstructure Project Engineer to join our team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in managing superstructure projects and a strong background in obtaining the necessary permissions and permits to initiate projects, including liaising with UK councils to secure them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage superstructure projects from planning to completion.
- Obtain required permissions and permits, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
- Liaise with UK councils and relevant authorities to secure necessary approvals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Manage materials procurement from both within and outside the UK.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or MEP).
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer specializing in superstructure projects, particularly in housing or real estate construction.
- In-depth knowledge of UK regulations and procedures for obtaining project permissions and permits.
- Proven track record of dealing with UK councils and other regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals.
- Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary superstructure activities, including coordination across civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines.
- Project Construction Management certification is required; PMP certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage procurement processes and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
