Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for a Cloud Engineering (Co-op) to work alongside Cloud Infrastructure team servicing the telecommunications domain.
The successful candidates will assist the Cloud engineering team in implementing and maintaining the cloud-based infrastructure migration using GCV / AWS. Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of any production issue reported on Cloud Infrastructure. in addition to this, you will also update the appropriate production guides where applicable, post the migration or incident resolution.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
• An active student at an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Studying Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge on cloud computing concepts and Services.
• Proficiency in any of the scripting language Python, PowerShell, Ansible
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to thrive under limited supervision.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Understanding Key Technologies an asset
• Knowing the concept of DevOps, Agile Methodology
• CI / CD and SRE.
• Server administration experience would be an asset
• Knowledge on Automation
