The primary responsibility of the Supply Planner is to ensure the optimal inventory level to offer a product range that meets our customers' needs and maximizes sales, taking into account the seasonal cycle of our industry. The Supply Planner is also responsible for the smooth running of the procurement process concerning their group of suppliers.Responsibilities• Purchase the product ranges under their responsibility to meet Canadian customer needs.• Maintain inventory levels that align with seasonality and company growth.• Monitor various programs and make necessary adjustments to minimize sales losses (Fill Rate) and maximize inventory turnover (Turn).• Serve as the main point of contact with suppliers for all purchasing-related matters.• Ensure the accuracy of product details and pricing in the system.• Work closely with planners, merchandisers, and distributors regarding purchased products.• Collaborate with the sales team to address issues and identify improvements necessary to meet customer needs.• Place purchase orders with various suppliers.• Oversee the organization of stock transfers between different warehouses.• Ensure follow-up on orders and plan their receipts.• Perform other related tasks as needed.Success Factors• At least 2-3 years of previous experience in supply planning or inventory management.• Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.• Knowledge of inventory management tools and planning software (SAP, Excel, etc.).• Bilingualism required.We Offer• A dynamic and stimulating work environment.• Opportunities for career development within the company.• A competitive salary package.
