We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Officer to join a leading Sovereign Wealth Fund based in Dubai. This position requires a professional with strong risk management expertise to develop and implement risk frameworks that align with industry best practices, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and internal controls.
• Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across various functions.
• Collaborate with management to design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports for the Risk Management Committee, summarizing findings and presenting solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards, staying informed of any changes.
Essential Competencies:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management and estblishing internal risk Frameworks within Asset Management
• Proficient in productivity, planning, and workload management, with the ability to multitask and meet established deadlines.
• Master's Degree in Finance or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
• Effective interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across all levels of management and with the Risk Management Committee.
• High level of professional integrity with sound discretion and judgment.
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement of working practices.
