    Position Overview

    Will assist in all aspects of the Portfolio Real Estate Loan program. To include, but not limited to, loan package receipt from Broker Partners, input of loan package to Calyx Point, order all necessary components to complete the loan process. Other duties will be required as part of the loan process.

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    • Receives loan package and inputs data into our processing system, orders all pertinent docs, appraisal, title, insurance, credit.
    • Sent file to PPDOCS (attorney) for initial Loan Estimate and Disclosures
    • Communicates with borrower on the process and timeline for approval and close.
    • Notifies borrower of approval or decline
    • Upon approval file is moved from Loan Estimate to Closing Disclosure platform
    • Works with the title company to balance the Closing Disclosure
    • Sends Closing Disclosure to the borrower within required time frame.
    • Review final documents before sending to title.
    • Review signed documents prior to funding.
    • Works up wire breakdown and GL tickets for funding loan.
    • Books new loan in the system
    • Add tracking information to CoreLogic for property taxes payments.
    • Scan items to FCM.
    • Put file in order and send to loan operations.
    • Prepare HMDA reports for mortgage loans.
    • Take payments over the phone for loans.
    • Reviews escrow analysis for all loans
    • Assist collecting insurance invoices.
    • Manage the Adjustable-Rate Loan portfolio- Spanish customers (past due- payment issues foreclosures -rating change, change of address etc.
    • Assist existing customers- with questions and request.
    • Work on checks that havent clear-by contacting customers- issue stop payment and reissue check.
    • Prepare payoff quote request.
    • Process renewals and modification.
    • Cancel CoreLogic tracking for payoff loans.
    • Gather property tax payment receipts for lot loan.
    • Follow up and collect title policy and recorded deed of trust for all new loans.
    • Prepare payment correction request.

    Education and Special Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree or High School Graduate and other secondary education or continuing education
    • Loan Processing and loan operations experience.
    • High level of proficiency and comfort with technology-based systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
    • Be able to converse with Spanish speaking customers.
