Summary
The Production Engineering Department is seeking a Mechanical Designer that will be responsible for drawing, modeling, and designing projects from the Sales, Engineering and R&D Groups. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and provide support on production-related matters which include but are not limited to applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing for manufacturing processes for both sheet metal, CNC machining, and grinding standards.

Qualifications
- Mechanical Technology/CAD Design Degree (Minimum Requirement)
- Efficient in 2D and 3D modeling (Required)
- Math: Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra and Physics (Required)
- Good computer skills
- Must be a self-starter with effective communication skills
- Desire to learn, and desire to advance the department’s performance output
- Positive Attitude
- Desire to work on a team
- Practical experience in manufacturing a plus: Machining, Welding, Electrical-Mechanical Assembly
- Create 2D drawings (AutoCAD) and 3D models (Inventor)
- Work with new designs and modifications to existing designs
- Drawing revision control
- Engineering support to Derrick Manufacturing (entire Shop)
