    Job description & requirements

    This position supports the hydraulic sales team with sales growth by the promotion of electrical automation products and technologies to customers, aiding with pre/post sale support.

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    • Build positive relationships with AFP sales, customer service teams and vendor partners.

    • Make recommendations for electrical inventory requirements and product line pricing structure.

    • Build and maintain product tip sheets to promote electrical product sales.

    • Assist with customer electrical automation needs by offering value-added solutions.

    • Construct system bill of materials for projects and assemblies as needed.

    • Program automation systems to meet requirements and provide customer product training as needed.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Skills And Abilities Required

    • Strong electrical systems and circuitry knowledge.

    • Ability to learn new automation products, their application, and design electrical systems using current product offering.

    • Knowledge of basic hydraulic and pneumatic concepts, electrical motion control products and their application.

    • Design and perform technical presentations.

    • Excellent written and verbal skills, ability to think critically.

    • Ability to travel 50%of the time.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCad software.

    Physical Requirement

    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

    Education And Experience Required

    • Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or equivalent experience. BS in Electrical or Electronics Technology is preferred.

    • 1 year electrical or mechanical engineering, electrical sales or automation product application experience preferred.
