Position Summary
We are seeking a Healthcare Outbound Call Center Representative to join our team and engage with potential patients, insurance clients, or healthcare providers. This role involves making outbound calls to educate individuals about healthcare services, schedule appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and generate leads for medical programs. A strong understanding of healthcare terminology and HIPAA compliance is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient & Provider Outreach
- Make outbound calls to potential patients, healthcare providers, or insurance customers to promote healthcare services.
- Educate prospects on available healthcare plans, treatment options, wellness programs, or medical procedures.
- Schedule patient appointments, follow-up visits, or telehealth consultations.
- Conduct insurance verification and gather necessary patient information.
- Maintain a professional, empathetic tone while handling patient inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure all interactions are compliant with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Provide accurate information about medical services, coverage options, and eligibility.
- Escalate complex patient concerns to healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Accurately document call outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) or CRM system.
- Update patient records and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Track outreach performance and report metrics to supervisor/team lead.
- Experience: 2+ years in healthcare telemarketing, patient outreach, or a call center environment-Required
- Communication: Strong active listening and persuasive speaking skills. Required
- Healthcare Knowledge: Understanding medical terminology, insurance processes, and patient engagement. Required
- Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Required
- Technical Skills: Experience with EHR systems, CRM software, and call center technology. Required
- Sales & Customer Service: Ability to overcome objections, educate patients, and drive conversions.
- Experience in health insurance, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment, medical billing, or patient scheduling.
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish preferred).
- Background in medical device sales, pharmaceutical telemarketing, or healthcare lead generation.
