YOUR CHALLENGE
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams using agile methodologies within a DevOps-centric environment
- Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor frontend applications, and participate actively in pull request reviews
- Understand and translate business requirements into functional frontend solutions by engaging closely with stakeholders from various Julius Baer divisions
- Participate actively in planning and feature refinement sessions
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure frontend solutions align with Julius Baer’s overall architecture vision
- Actively contribute to our Software Engineering communities, sharing your expertise and supporting peers
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable frontend code adhering to Julius Baer guidelines and standards
- Pragmatic, proactive, and open-minded with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
- Proven frontend engineering experience with a focus on React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of frontend architectures, responsive design, and performance optimization
- Experience with TDD, BDD, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD
- Eagerness to adopt new technologies and support Julius Baer's digital transformation
- Strong communication skills and fluent English proficiency
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience
