Job Title: Event Associate
Status: Temporary, multiple opportunities for 1-day assignments
Location: Various onsite locations in Washington, DC
Hourly Compensation: $18.00

Duties:
This is an opportunity to work with some of the most prestigious companies and international nonprofits in the world. As an Event Associate, you will be an important onsite component to ensure the overall success of various events including conventions, business consortiums, tradeshows, and large international meetings. Support ranges from event to event but Event Associates are generally responsible for the following:
- Support onsite guest registration at the entrance
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests including providing instructions, information, and answering questions
- Support various onsite event stations as directed by the Event Managers
- Manage or support exhibitor booths
- Serve as a guide for guests providing direction to appropriate places
- Run onsite errands as directed by Event Managers
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Availability: almost all events are during normal business hours, Monday to Friday
- Professionalism: outstanding customer service skills, listening and communication skills, follow-up, and maturity
Dress Code:
- The dress code may vary for specific events but generally dark professional clothing with comfortable shoes (suits are not mandatory)
