We are looking for a dedicated Driver / Staging Mover to handle furniture and décor transport and assist with home staging. This role is crucial in ensuring our staging operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture and staging accessories between our warehouse and homes.
- Assist in setting up staging at properties.
- Inspect and repair furnishings and property as needed.
- Re-pack and organize unused items and return them to the warehouse.
- Unstage homes, including wrapping, bagging, and packing items.
- Maintain an organized and orderly warehouse environment.
- Assemble furniture as needed.
- REQUIRED: Class C Non-CDL Illinois Driver's License.
- Clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving a 20’ moving truck.
- Excellent teamwork skills and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in repairs and assembling furniture.
- Residency in Chicago required.
- Demonstrated professionalism and maturity.
- Physical ability to lift items up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
- Background check will be conducted.
- Company-paid lunch from local restaurants daily.
- $50 monthly reimbursement for phone expenses.
- Paid Time Off: 40 hours in the first year, increasing to 80 hours annually after one year.
- Sick Pay.
- Semi-annual bonuses.
- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Overtime available as required.
- Full-time, year-round employment.
