    Stansell Dentistry Associates is a leading dental practice in Brier Creek dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Dental Hygiene Coordinator to join our team!

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Dental Hygiene Coordinator to manage the administrative aspects of our hygiene department, ensuring seamless communication between dentists, hygienists, and patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage patient flow and scheduling for hygiene appointments.

    • Coordinate with dentists and hygienists to ensure efficient scheduling and communication.

    • Prepare treatment plans and estimates for patients.

    • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.

    • Process patient payments and handle billing inquires.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

    • Communicate with patients via phone, email, and in-person to address concerns and provide updates.

    • Assist with front desk duties, including answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling paperwork.

    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving patient satisfaction and practice efficiency.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or a related field preferred.

    • 1+ year of experience in a dental office is a must.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Proficiency in practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Curve) and Google Docs.

    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with insurance verification and billing procedures.

    • Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.

    • Bilingual or multilingual skills (English/Spanish).
