Chief Accountant-Dubai
Our client seeks a Chief Accountant with FMCG manufacturing experience to manage AP, costing, and financial statements. The ideal candidate will hold an MBA in Finance or a degree in Cost Accounting and will contribute to financial reporting, cost control, and process improvement within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the AP process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
- Maintain and analyze costing models, ensuring accurate product costing and profitability.
- Oversee inventory management and reconcile stock to financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist management with financial reports, variance analysis, and cost optimization.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closings.
- Identify areas for cost control improvements and process efficiencies.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, specifically in AP, costing, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
