Our Brisbane branch is seeking a Warehouse & Customer Service person who will be responsible for warehouse duties, and serving customers visiting our trade counter.
What You'll Be Doing
- All warehouse duties, including: inwards, dispatch, picking & packing, forklift operating, stocktaking – currently, you will be sole-charge in the warehouse.
- Health & Safety Officer, with unlocking and/or locking the building.
- Serving customers visiting the trade counter.
- Hours – Mon-Fri, start and finish times can be discussed.
- Warehousing experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a sense of humour.
- Good numeracy skills & attention to detail.
- Motivated to deliver great customer service.
- Fastenings/fittings knowledge would be a plus but isn't required as training will be provided.
- Established in Australia for 12 years based in Brisbane and supplying engineering and manufacturing companies locally and across the country.
- Operating in New Zealand for 31 years where it has 12 branches.
- Products include: Fasteners, Marine Fittings, Wire Rope, BSP Fittings, Valves, Retainers.
- Ability to source fasteners & fittings from a large network of international suppliers.
- Has a focus on technology with an e-commerce website & a barcode scanning App option for re-ordering.
