Job Description
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive and efficient service.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, demonstrating knowledge of menu items and daily specials
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant
- Stay informed about local cuisine and customs to enhance the guest experience
- Previous experience as a waiter in a restaurant setting
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication abilities in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Detailed understanding of food and beverage service techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions
- Ability to memorize menu items and daily specials
- Attention to detail in maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
- Knowledge of local cuisine and customs is advantageous
- Adaptability to changing situations and ability to multitask efficiently
