Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to benchmark and improve current AI models by producing multi‑attribute descriptions of video clips. Experts will watch videos and generate concise but nuanced annotations covering subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal flow, mood, and storytelling elements.

Experts will watch videos and generate concise but nuanced annotations covering subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal flow, mood, and storytelling elements.
Ideal Qualification
- Have experience in one or more of these archetypes: music production, sound design, audio engineering, composition, movie producers, film editors, screenwriters, archivists, media analysts, or generalists with excellent attention to detail.
- Apply judgment to decide which attributes best describe a clip and how to express subtle narrative cues.
- Combine attention to detail with the ability to clearly document findings.
- Excel at following precise instructions and quickly adopting new requirements.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication.
- You’ll collaborate directly with Mercor’s project leads.
- Start dates are rolling; we aim to onboard qualified experts within a few days (1‑2) of application.
- Up to 40 hours of work available per week.
- Fully remote and asynchronous, so it can be flexible to your schedule.
- The project is expected to last a minimum of 4-5  weeks with potential for extension.
- You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor.
- We will pay you at the end of each week via Stripe Connect.
- You will need to complete a short interview and form, which will take a total of 30-50 minutes.
- Currently only accepting applicants from the U.S., UK, and Canada.
