    Your Role

    • Creating validation plans for newly developed subsystems and design modifications, taking into account test stands, simulation tools, etc.

    • Reviewing circuit diagrams, design change documentation and validation reports.

    • Constructing and reviewing the specifications for train and train lab-type tests under all relevant operating conditions.

    • Collaborating to optimize the testing scope across the laboratory, train, and train lab, while developing and evaluating documentation for type tests (including test instructions and reports) for both train and train lab.

    • Executing functional type tests using a test case database.

    • Conducting static and dynamic tests on trains and train labs, both at our Salzgitter location and in external environments.

    Your Profile

    • Bachelor, Master or Diploma of Engineering specifically in the field of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

    • Qualified electrician or electrotechnical instructed person according to DIN VDE 0105-100.

    • More than 5 years work experience in functional / train testing (including specification, execution, and analysis) in compliance with functional and design requirements.

    • Relevant experience in functional engineering for railway rolling stock.

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Change Management System desirable.

    • Very good knowledge of English and German.
