    The scheme

    You will start your 12 - 18 month training programme in our ‘Product’ licencing team.

    With support from your team, you will learn the skills required to progress within our Merchandising function. Responsibility comes early and you will be looking after millions of pounds worth of stock from day one!

    You will receive regular feedback from your Merchandise team who will coach and develop you throughout the scheme, supporting you in reaching your goals.

    Once you are ready to take the next step you will be promoted to Assistant Merchandiser!

    Day to day you will be...

    • Negotiating, ordering and managing the intake of stock from suppliers all over the world
    • Updating our product systems with the correct delivery dates and shipment modes
    • Reviewing historical and current sales to forecast what stock we need for the future
    • Attend range building and selection meetings and use your knowledge to influence how future ranges look

    Your team

    Licensing is a growing area within our branded division where we design, develop and manufacture products for some of our brands. Our Licensing team works with an exciting portfolio of Brands including Ted Baker childrenswear, ALLSAINTS, Superdry childrenswear, Laura Ashley, Reebok, THE SET, Little Bird by Joules Oliver, Clarks schoolwear and Paul Smith Junior. Working closely with our Brand partners you will develop great relationships with them to maximise the many commercial opportunities.

    Working as part of a dynamic and experienced team, this role is a great opportunity to join a key part of licensing. This role is perfect for someone who wants to work closely with buying and design to develop the best in class products but also experience working with brands and managing the relationship.
