A rapidly expanding, large AUM multi-strategy hedge fund, are looking to make a newly created trader assistant hire.The role, sat on the trading desk, is available as the current incumbent is moving internally into an investment analyst role. The role is cross product and the remit is broad. Daily tasks would include trade capture, trade booking, working on ad-hoc tasks for PMs, following up on PnL issues and queries + providing oversight on operational processes that are outsourced. The hire will also be cross-trained to take on some portfolio financing responsibilities.Candidates should have 2-4yrs operations/trade support/MO/TA experience, ideally with a background in derivatives. A strong academic profile is preferred, as are advanced tech skills.The role is projected to a pay up to a $175k TC year one.In addition to an excellent working environment / company culture, the firm pride itself on a good work-life-balance - it is rare that the hire would ever work beyond 530/6pm in this role + it is possible to work one day from home each week.
