Test Engineer - Ee Integration Test

Qualifications:

• BSEE, 3+ years of experience R&D or Manufacturing (start-ups preferred)

• Hands-on experience with electrical systems (for EV’s, Solar, Inverters, battery, Level 3 EVSE charging)

• Experience using Python, CLI tools, Linux, C++

• Experience developing test plans from specifications and requirements

• Experience in designing and building electrical test setup, mechanical test fixtures

• Experience running and documenting tests results for hardware tests (thermal, reliability…etc.)

• Familiarity with low/ high voltage/high power systems (240AC, 400-600DC)

• Familiarity with electrical codes (NEC, UL 508, UL 67, UL 489)

• Experience soldering, wiring, electrical rework (PCB)

• Ability to read and build from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable/harness diagrams

• Ability to us hand tools, power tools, lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, Logic Analyzer)

Responsibilities:

• Designing and building electrical test setups

• Building test harnesses, assembling PCBAs, or putting together prototypes

• Running hardware tests (thermal, reliability, etc.); moving and setting up equipment and materials with third-party test houses

• Interface with third-party test labs as needed to run tests out-of-house

• Build the testing rig, instrumenting the rig; preparing, running, and documenting tests
