General Summary:
Our Field Service Technician is responsible for on-site installation, service, maintenance, warranty, and repair on various equipment, access control, video surveillance, and all security-related equipment.
Essential Functions:
Covered 6 is a group of highly experienced trainers and consultants with backgrounds in law enforcement, military, legal community and corporate security. Many of our cadre have gained their experience in austere environments, real life combat scenarios, and major crisis management, both stateside and abroad.
We have pooled this talent to provide the best possible resources available for our exclusive clients and organizations. Many of our subject matter experts are currently working in sensitive assignments or deployed with the military.

General Summary:
Our Field Service Technician is responsible for on-site installation, service, maintenance, warranty, and repair on various equipment, access control, video surveillance, and all security-related equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Provide customer support and end-user equipment operations training
- Install, service, and maintenance of various, access control, cameras, gates, and other security-related equipment.
- Communicate and document all installation, maintenance, and repair items
- Utilize networking systems (IP address, computer networks, and networking )
- Configure and test all equipment before installation.
- Assist in estimating projects if needed.
- Service and maintain automated gates with access control.
- Must be able to work in high-security environments.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to work independently
- Desire to learn
- Camera installations
- Security Systems
- Low Voltage Standards
- Troubleshooting capabilities
- Proven guidance to end-users for solving problems
- Mechanical devices, electrical devices.
- General construction processes
- CCTV and VMS knowledge
- Network programming and framework
- Access control integration
- IP Camera knowledge
- The employee must be able to work in a variety of outdoor and indoor conditions.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb a ladder.
