• Design Mechanical drawings (HVAC) and coordinate with other departments. • All work must incorporate professional drawing standards and symbols. • Works with senior and fellow engineers to develop alternatives and options for further development of projects and products. • Responsible for reporting progress of all assigned tasks to the head department and implementing specific and mechanical/ Electrical engineering works in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested. • Organizes and supervises the work of draftsmen allocated to him and provides relevant support and/or advice to project teams as applicable. • Responsible for efficient and effective design of HVAC and mechanical engineering works, preparation of drawings, calculations, bills of quantities, contract documents, etc. • Verifies that all designs, drawings, and documents are to current codes and standards. • Liaises as directed with other engineers on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project. • Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Senior or his responsible Principal as applicable. • Producing complicated drawings and charts in a specialized field, involving planning, layout, bill of materials, etc. for major installations. • Responsible for the generation of drawings and bills of materials. • Responsible for meeting design to cost figures. • Responsible for carrying out design change requests in a timely manner. • Add project calculating document, filling on server in a manner to make all tasks trackable.
