Key Accountabilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure all reporting complies with SOCPA, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and liaising with internal/external auditors.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Monitor variances between budget and actuals and provide analytical commentary.
• Support budget holders in understanding financial performance.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Implement and maintain effective internal controls.
• Review and verify financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks.

Cash Flow & Treasury Support

• Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain banking relationships.
• Support treasury operations including payments and fund transfers.

Financial Analysis

• Conduct cost analysis, profitability reviews, and financial modeling as required.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for management decision-making.

ERP & Process Improvement

• Maintain and update ERP system data for financial accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and automation.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience
• Experience with IFRS and SOCPA reporting.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or SOCPA (preferred).
