Your New Role

As Senior Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting working papers for all corporate entities. You will also prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and internal reporting. Your duties will include assisting with the preparation of quarterly tax provisions and coordinating assurance and tax engagements with the Controller, including preparing and managing deliverables, fielding inquiries, detailed review, and ensuring timely completion and reporting.

Additionally, you will assist in preparing all other tax compliance and tax planning deliverables, coordinating annual corporate governance activities, maintaining tax tracking schedules, and supporting the implementation and management of internal controls, business processes, and procedures. You will conduct research on applicable accounting and tax issues, prepare memorandums and supporting quantitative analyses, provide transaction support, and assist with special projects, transactions, assignments, and ad hoc requests. You will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, optimizing business processes, and supporting the finance, development, and construction teams on cross-functional initiatives. You will also be involved in transaction support, research on accounting and tax issues, special projects, and mentoring junior staff.

What Sets You Apart

To excel in this role, you will have a professional accounting designation (CPA) and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent, along with a minimum of three years of accounting experience. Demonstrated analytical skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential, and experience with Sage Intacct is a strong asset. You have excellent communication skills and are confident building relationships across teams. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail is critical for success.
