We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our client’s growing accounting team. This role oversees the financial operations of three operating companies and requires a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Manage AP/AR, payroll, collections, and cash flow
• Lead month-end and year-end close procedures
• Oversee intercompany allocations and shared services billbacks
• Prepare accurate financial reports and job cost/KPI reporting
• Partner with Project Managers to maximize profitability
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Ensure compliance with tax, GAAP, and internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA in progress preferred)
• 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience
• Experience managing accounting teams and multi-entity operations
• Background in property management, services, or construction an asset
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
