Senior Accountant

Anchor Property Management is hiring a Senior Accountant to support our growing business!

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations for multiple companies by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant uses their knowledge of financial operations to perform important accounting tasks and uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports.

Senior Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
• Verify and reconcile general ledger accounts, including multiple intercompany accounts
• Produce error-free accounting reports
• Meet financial account objectives
• Assist and train accountants
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Review accounting information for accuracy
• Work with Financial team to improve financial procedures
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as Accountant
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
