Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Software Engineer with expertise in JavaScript to become an integral part of our innovative team. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of web technologies, browser behaviors, DOM manipulation, and video player integration, with experience in the ad tech sector being advantageous. Your contributions will be crucial in refining our measurement capabilities, utilizing the Open Measurement Software Development Kit (OMSDK) alongside various JavaScript frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain measurement scripts and front-end applications employing JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Ensure our OMSDK implementation is current for optimized ad measurement and verification.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate and test new features.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues encountered in browsers and video platforms.

• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to guarantee superior quality deliverables.

• Remain updated on the latest trends and advancements in web technologies and the ad tech landscape.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, showcasing a solid grasp of its fundamental principles.

• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries including React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Thorough understanding of browser internals, DOM manipulation, and video player integration.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.

• Knowledge and experience with OMSDK in ad tech solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated experience in the ad tech industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with ad serving technologies and standards (e.g., VAST, VPAID, OMSDK).

• Understanding of fraud detection and prevention in digital advertising is a plus.

• Experience with server-side JavaScript (Node.js) is beneficial.
