Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Coordinator, where you will be instrumental in streamlining HR processes and nurturing a supportive workplace environment. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities that ensure employees have an exceptional experience within our organization. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the administration of health and welfare plans, managing enrollments, modifications, and terminations while ensuring payroll deductions and records are precise. • Conduct audits of insurance carrier systems to maintain accurate census and enrollment records. • Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding HR and benefits. • Complete and verify Forms I-9 to uphold compliance and maintain appropriate documentation. • Support new hire background checks and facilitate onboarding procedures. • Reconcile benefits statements and invoices, addressing any discrepancies effectively. • Perform audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, providing recommendations for enhancements as necessary. • Assist in recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, onboarding new hires, and maintaining records within the HRIS. • Prepare and uphold accurate employee files and HR-related correspondence. • Support the performance review process and assist with employment verification requests, unemployment, and disability claims. • Undertake additional HR-related initiatives and projects as assigned. Required Skills • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, emphasizing customer service and interpersonal relationships. • Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. • Comprehensive understanding of HR principles, practices, and compliance regulations. • Effective time management skills, adept at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Teams; familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. • At least two years of relevant experience in HR is required.
