Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our esteemed team, providing vital administrative support in a fully remote setting. This role is integral in assisting HR Managers with recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processing while ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and facilitate the hiring and recruitment processes, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal laws along with company standards. • Assist in crafting job postings, scheduling interviews, and preparing necessary agendas for onsite visits. • Collaborate with managers to streamline the hiring process, addressing any challenges that may arise. • Manage applicant flow efficiently from initial application through to acceptance of offer letters, including background screenings and electronic onboarding. • Coordinate with hiring managers regarding technology requirements for new hires and provide timely reminders for office preparations or uniform orders. • Maintain and organize new hire and personnel files within the Human Resources Information Systems. • Facilitate orientation for new employees, particularly regarding the HRIS system and time clock registration. • Ensure meticulous maintenance of employee records and payroll documents in line with policies. • Conduct reference checks, motor vehicle checks, and process employment verifications and unemployment claims. • Provide general HR support through phone and email communications, and assist employees with transfer requests. • Participate in team projects as a Human Resources subject matter expert, and train new hires on HR processes and policies. Required Skills • Proficiency in English; bilingual capabilities are advantageous. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities. • Detail-oriented with a solid focus on compliance and record-keeping. • Proactive, independent, and able to take initiative. • Excellent time management and multitasking skills. • Familiar with applicable laws and regulations regarding hiring and recruitment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of quickly learning various HR systems. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required. • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources is preferred. • A valid driver's license is necessary; a motor vehicle background check will be conducted.
