Our mission is to empower both restaurants and consumers, facilitating engagement and transactions anywhere, anytime, and from any device.Position OverviewAs a Data Analyst, you will engage in multifaceted Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and BI Engineering initiatives, leveraging exceptional problem-solving, data wrangling, and analytical storytelling abilities. You will be instrumental in transforming our service data and existing reports into user-friendly data dashboards. This pivotal role will contribute to advancing data democratization throughout our organization and with our clientele. You will collaborate with various business teams, providing insights and guidance to refine reports and enhance underlying ETL pipelines, thereby addressing complex business and consumer challenges.Key Responsibilities• Create and present analyses, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior executives and clients.• Conduct data exploration to uncover actionable insights through funnel analysis, user segmentation, and cohort analysis.• Execute A/B testing to support development teams in optimizing our products and assisting clients in informed decision-making.• Develop and maintain data pipelines to accommodate various internal and external data consumption needs.• Implement new capabilities and best practices to enhance self-service and automated data analysis processes.• Design and update effective dashboards for business units such as Marketing, Product, Finance, Engineering, Sales, and Support/Operations.• Develop new complex dimensions and measures to fulfill analysts’ business needs.• Establish and uphold coding standards while conducting code reviews for BI developers and technical analysts.• Ensure accuracy and consistency in production dashboards as underlying data warehouse structures evolve.• Promote a uniform semantic layer, data definitions, and metric calculations across all business areas.• Maintain our data infrastructure, write SQL, build derived tables, and collaborate with data engineering to ensure efficient query performance and resource consumption.• Optimize project structures for multi-tenant access and re-architect as necessary to accommodate growing business requirements.• Enhance performance through re-architecture as required, while maintaining existing data pipelines.• Develop LookML in Looker and troubleshoot Jenkins orchestration jobs.• Modify SQL and Python code for ELT processes to efficiently load data into Redshift.• Perform additional duties as required or directed.Required Skills• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.• Proficient SQL skills.• 1-2 years of experience with AWS or Google Cloud technologies (Redshift or BigQuery).• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with effective use of business tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Looker.Career Growth OpportunitiesOur organization is committed to fostering an environment conducive to career advancement.
