As a Reliability Engineer I at Marki Microwave, you will be a key member of the Quality and Reliability team responsible for reliability engineering activities that support Markis best-in-class RF hybrid devices, packaged ICs and bare die. In this role your primary focuses are on new product qualifications and ongoing reliability studies. You will use your ability to design and conduct reliability studies, analyze data, draw accurate conclusions, and clearly communicate your results to internal company stakeholders on multiple programs running in parallel. You will also take the lead on failure investigations, and activities and initiatives that continually improve Marki reliability performance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Own reliability activities for the full portfolio of Marki devices, from new product introduction to ongoing monitoring of production released products.
Responsible to create, analyze and maintain system reliability models based on industry accepted quality and reliability concepts and methodologies.
Manage multiple new product qualifications in parallel with respect to individual
schedules and budgets.
Work with the development engineering team to design robust qualification plans for RF hybrid devices, packaged ICs and bare die using device and component appropriate methods and conditions.
Coordinate reliability and durability tests at the technology, product and/or package level with the quality engineering team following industry standards such as MIL-SPEC, JEDEC, space grade certifications and/or customer specified reliability testing.
Review source control documents to determine the appropriate stress tests and test methods, electrical and mechanical limits required.
Coordinate with external test labs to get products tested and supervise the labs to ensure the tests were performed according to the test conditions.
Analyze stress test results using industry accepted quality and reliability concepts and methodologies, and create clear, concise reports and recommendations to team members and management.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions stemming from reliability qualification failures.
Understand electrical and physical failure analysis techniques, such as SEM, CSAM,
OM, Thermal Microscopy and FIB.
Devise and own the ongoing reliability monitoring (ORM) program to ensure the quality
of Marki products is maintained at the highest levels of quality.
Support the evaluation and selection of reliability test equipment consistent with Marki product portfolio and strategy.
Design and track reliability metrics and analyses of product performance variation.
Support ongoing quality and reliability improvements in Manufacturing by applying knowledge and practice of methodologies and techniques including FMEA, statistical limit setting and SPC.
