We need a financial analyst who's equal parts number-cruncher and deal hunter. This isn't your typical analyst role—you'll be on the phones daily, chasing opportunities, coordinating complex transactions, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in our fast-paced acquisition environment.

Think consulting meets real estate investment banking. You'll work directly with property owners, brokers, lenders, and service professionals to identify, analyze, and close deals that fuel our growth. This role demands the analytical rigor of financial analysis combined with the hustle of business development.

The right candidate is someone who likes to hustle, push things to the finish line and is HUNGRY to make things happen. If you're looking for work-life balance, this isn't for you. You'll have cool stories to tell your grandkids and will learn more about real estate investing in 1 year than you would in 3 at a normal (boring) job.

This is an in-person role at our Downtown Montreal office, Monday through Friday, with weekend availability required during high-season and active deals. You'll need a driver's license and car for property visits and site inspections.

• Proactively solicit property owners and brokers for acquisition opportunities through cold calling, networking, and relationship building
• Maintain active pipeline of potential deals across multiple markets
• Coordinate complex transactions involving multiple parties (brokers, owners, lenders, lawyers, inspectors)
• Ensure deadline compliance by tracking and following up on all moving parts throughout deal lifecycles
• Build and maintain relationships with key market players to generate consistent deal flow
  

• Analyze acquisition opportunities through detailed financial modeling and market analysis
• Prepare investment presentations and deal summaries for leadership review
• Conduct market and competitor research to validate assumptions and pricing
• Evaluate neighborhood dynamics and market trends affecting property values
• Create comprehensive underwriting including cash flow projections and sensitivity analysis
  

• Manage rent rolls for all properties ensuring accurate rates, terms, and payment tracking
• Prepare monthly financial reports for stakeholders with clear, digestible insights
• Conduct quarterly pricing reviews and coordinate rate adjustments with leasing teams
• Monitor budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities across portfolio
• Support ongoing asset management with data-driven recommendations
  

• Collaborate with operations teams on property financial health and performance optimization
• Coordinate with leasing and marketing on pricing strategies and market positioning
• Support due diligence processes by organizing financial data and coordinating property inspections
• Manage transaction timelines and communicate progress to all stakeholders
  

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• 0-3 years experience in consulting, private equity, investment banking, real estate, or similar fast-paced professional services
• New graduates welcome if you have the right analytical foundation and hustle
• Bilingual fluency (French/English) essential for our Montreal operations

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency with complex financial modeling
