    Job description & requirements

At Pair of Thieves, we make basics that are anything but. From socks that actually stay up to underwear that doesn’t quit to tees that make you look like you tried (without trying), we’re reinventing the everyday. We’re now looking for a Product Development Assistant to join our men’s basics team and help us bring our designs to life.

If you’ve got a sharp eye for detail, love apparel, and can juggle multiple projects without losing your cool, this could be your jam.

    What You’ll Do

    • Support the Product Development team from concept through production for men’s basics (socks, underwear, tees, etc.)
    • Manage sample tracking, organization, and distribution (because there will be A LOT of socks and underwear)
    • Communicate with factories and vendors to follow up on samples, timelines, and approvals
    • Participate in fittings, take notes, and track feedback/changes
    • Research fabrics, trims, and trends in the men’s basics space
    • Help with data entry, filing, and all the unglamorous but super important stuff that makes the magic happen

    What We’re Looking For

    • 1–2 years of apparel product development or production experience (internships count)
    • A passion for men’s apparel, especially basics (you know the difference between a crew and a v-neck, and why fabric weight matters)
    • Super organized with great attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
    • Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets, Adobe Illustrator is a plus
    • A doer who’s not afraid to roll up sleeves, dig in, and get it done
    • Positive, team-oriented, and unflappable under pressure

    Why Pair of Thieves

    • Fast-paced, high-growth environment where your work makes a real impact
    • A culture that values creativity, humor, and getting sh*t done
    • Opportunity to grow and learn in the apparel industry with a brand that’s disrupting the basics game
    • Competitive pay, benefits, and (obviously) free socks & underwear

    Pair Of Thieves

It used to be that if you were looking for affordable basics that offered performance and style, all you’d find was disappointment. Every sock on the market was a compromise. If you wanted fun patterned socks with cushioned support, you’d need to throw your dress socks over your sport socks. Rhetorically…who double bags their feet? We started Pair of Thieves to fix all that by creating basics that didn’t compromise on any of those fronts.

Our solution is to make our product and our customer Ready for Everything. We create basics so versatile, by comparison, a swiss army knife is a paper weight. On any given day you might go from work to workout, to night out, to lights out. We make sure our basics comfort and perform at every stop on that tour.

    GOOD FITS

We’ve been fortunate to partner with charities and contribute in a big way to several causes. From helping people struggling with homelessness, to mental health outreach, to crisis intervention for LGBTQ+ youth. With the support of our customers, we have been able to help important organizations addressing these critical needs.

We created The Pair of Thieves Good Fits Collection to provide great products that help amazing causes. We’re proud to donate money, product, and time in association with each of the causes tied to the Good Fits collection. To date we have…

    • Donated over 3 million pairs of socks and other everyday essentials to charities addressing homelessness.

    • Donated 50% of all Pride Collection proceeds to The Trevor Project for LQBTQ+ youth crisis intervention. Proud to donate $100,000 in 2022.

    • Donated $2 from the sale of every pair of Never Alone socks to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

    • Donated $25,000 to Facing History and Ourselves an organization dedicated to fighting racism through educational programs.
