What You'll Do
- Panel Assembly & Wiring: Read and interpret panel layout and wiring drawings, then install and wire PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other critical components.
- Electrical Wiring: Work with a variety of voltages-480/240/120 VAC (1-Phase / 3-Phase) and 24 VDC-ensuring everything is connected correctly and safely.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Test wired control panels for proper functionality and diagnose any issues that arise during assembly.
- Safety & Site Management: Maintain a clean and organized job site, secure tools and equipment, and adhere to all safety guidelines to prevent hazards.
- Materials Handling: Handle the setup, storage, and transport of materials for the panel assembly process, including hauling and hoisting as needed.
- On-the-Job Learning: Be ready to learn and grow your skills through hands-on training as you tackle new challenges.
- Additional Responsibilities: Take on other duties as assigned to keep the panel shop running smoothly.
- Hands-On Worker: You're skilled with tools and comfortable using power tools; prior wiring experience is a plus.
- Safety-First Attitude: You follow all safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Physical Strength: You can lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License: You have reliable transportation and can travel as needed.
- Positive & Motivated: You maintain a neat appearance and bring a positive, can-do attitude to work every day.
- Attention to Detail: Your accuracy ensures everything is wired correctly, tested properly, and safely installed.
- Familiarity with UL-508A standards and previous wiring experience are bonuses.
- School of Life Graduate: While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, if you've got the skills, we've got the opportunity! Oh, and you have to be 18 to join the crew.
