Job Title: Payment Operations Managers (Fintech)

Salary: £80,000-90,000 + performance-driven bonus

About the Role

An exciting opportunity to lead our client’s day-to-day payment operations, ensuring strong reconciliation processes, compliance with internal controls, vendor management and service excellence across all payment flows. This role plays a key part in establishing a scalable, well-controlled operational framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payment processing and reconciliation (across both fiat and crypto)
• Implement and maintain robust internal control procedures
• Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (PSPs, custodians and other partners)
• Resolve queries efficiently across internal teams and external stakeholders
• Monitor, track, and report on operational KPIs
• Train and develop team members through cross-functional exposure
• Lead initiatives for process automation and operational efficiency
• Maintain and evolve a transparent and scalable fee structure

Key Requirements

Experience:

• 7+ years in payments or operations within banking, fintech or financial services
• Strong experience with reconciliations and internal control frameworks
• Proven track record in vendor management and operational problem-solving
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration across teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience with IFS (International Financial Systems)
• Knowledge of crypto and digital asset payment operations
• Background in fintech or early-stage/startup environments
