    Position Overview:

    Texas Medical Center is seeking a creative and versatile Multimedia Designer to join our dynamic Design Team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in animation, video editing, and basic web coding, along with experience in digital promotion. The Multimedia Designer will play a key role in crafting engaging visuals and interactive content to support our marketing initiatives, enhance digital presence, and elevate event experiences.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create dynamic animations and motion graphics for various digital platforms
    • Develop and edit video content for marketing campaigns, social media, events, and presentations
    • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on functionality and user experience
    • Ensure digital assets are optimized for web performance and SEO
    • Collaborate on digital marketing strategies and design visuals for multiple platforms to support marketing initiatives
    • Support digital advertising efforts, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines
    • Be open to working on last-minute projects and quick turnarounds when needed
    • Prepare project proposals outlining creative concepts and execution plan that meet the timeline and deadlines for marketing activities
    • Work closely with multiple teams to ensure alignment with branding and marketing goals
    • Revise designs and animations based on team and external partner feedback
    • Be able and open to working events on their own if needed and be a key part of the larger marketing team


    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in animation, video editing, and basic web coding.
    • Proficiency in design and video tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
    • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and content management systems.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.


    Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of JavaScript or advanced web development.
    • Experience in UI/UX design and interactive content creation.
    • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure content performance.
    • Experience with 3D modeling or rendering software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with VR content creation tools is a plus
    • Thrives under pressure and maintains a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be able to work full-time hours and some nights or weekends
