Wallace Montgomery has a unique opportunity for a licensed Virginia Land Surveyor to work independently and remotely in the Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland area. We are looking for someone to help us expand the Plats and Surveys department in our growing Virginia market. THIS IS A GROUND FLOOR OPPORTUNITY WITH DEPARTMENTAL LEADERSHIP TO FOLLOW! The ideal candidate would be able to perform the field requirements of survey tasks and office processing as well. The position will give the person the ability to grow and lead the Virginia Survey group including new hires, staff management and project management. Individual will have the full support of a robust Wallace Montgomery Plats and Surveys group that has a Mid-Atlantic footprint. All equipment is new, current and high quality! We support participation in Survey Professional Organizations.
Experience performing topographic surveys, metes and bounds surveys, Lidar scanning, GPS control networks and other surveying aspects. Knowledge with robotic total stations and VDOT standards preferred. Work will be processed in MicroStation ORD.
