To qualify for an IT Project Manager (APPSW), your qualifications must include: A.Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut- off/closing date of the announcement. - Develops and validates functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and adherence to DoD standards.
- Prepares detailed technical specifications and acquisition requirements to guide system implementation and sustainment activities.
- Participates in stakeholder engagement, communicating with DLA Headquarters, program managers, site representatives, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, technical requirements, and operational timelines.
- Acts as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR), managing contractor performance, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Supports the development of Statements of Work (SOW), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), and contract modifications.
- Monitors and manages technical risks associated with data replication, integration, and system interoperability, ensuring secure and reliable operations across IT and OT environments.
