Key Responsibilities
- Develop API Configurations: Build and manage configurations to fetch, create, and update claims/ policy setup
- Portal-Backend Communication: Enable real-time, secure communication between the JDP Portal and Guidewire applications.
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Map and transform data between Digital Portal structures and Guidewire domain models (e.g., Claims, Policies, Contacts).
- Error Handling and Resiliency: Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and logging for API transactions.
- Performance and Scalability: Optimize API design and usage for high throughput and minimal latency.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all API interactions are secure (e.g., OAuth2, JWT tokens, HTTPS encryption).
- Testing and Validation: Develop unit, configuration, and end-to-end tests for all APIs and workflows.
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PC & CC configuration
- Understanding of Guidewire data models (Claim Center and Policy Center)
- Gosu scripting knowledge (for backend customization if needed)
- Strong understanding of insurance workflows (claims, policies, parties)
- Familiarity with debugging and monitoring tools
- (Optional) Cloud deployment knowledge
