About the Job
As a Financial Accounting Clerk, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our company. Working closely with the finance and operations teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely processing of business transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting monthly reconciliations and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independent classification and posting of ongoing business transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and general ledger accounting) for the camLine Group
- Execution of payment transactions and bank reconciliations
- Processing and monitoring of dunning procedures
- Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations and supporting of internal and external Audits.
- Contribution to the optimization of financial processes
- Preparation and submission of monthly tax and statistical reports (e.g., VAT returns, EU sales listings)
- Successfully completed commercial training (Ausbildung), ideally as a certified tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r)
- Solid professional experience in a comparable role
- Sound knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, as well as in payroll tax, value-added tax (VAT), and social security law
- In-depth understanding of accounting processes
- Excellent command of German and English (B2-C1 level)
- Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Mesonic WinLine
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Open Team Atmosphere plus an extensive/tailor-made Onboarding (learning path from day 1 for our product, then a technical training plan in the long run)
