Financial Accountant

Location: London (Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office)

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist with the production of annual audited financial statements (FRS 102) for the firm and related entities.
  • Work closely with auditors and international offices to ensure efficient audit completion.
  • Support budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and business planning.
  • Partner with business services directors to provide financial insight and cost control.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and intercompany settlements.
  • Review and authorise payments, including commission statements for consultants.
  • Collaborate with the tax team on partner-related matters, R&D credits, and transfer pricing.
  • Contribute to the smooth financial integration of international offices.
  • Get involved in ad hoc projects and reporting to support the wider business.


What we’re looking for

  • A professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 2 years’ PQE.
  • Up-to-date on UK GAAP (FRS 102).
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Organised, accurate, and comfortable working under pressure with high volumes of work.
  • A confident communicator, able to build trust and inspire confidence across the business.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and eager to drive improvements.
