About the Job
In this role, youâll be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for events, exhibitions, conferences, and projects by analyzing key cost metrics. Your expertise will help drive profitable business decisions while ensuring cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- To coordinate with Sales Team/Customer/Creative and Design Team etc. to scope and provide cost estimates for various standard and customised items by analysing various cost variables.
- To produce accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for complex events / exhibitions / conferences / projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- To review and utilise in-house materials / resources to minimise cost.
- To support in negotiation of Preferred Supplier Agreement which provide best benefit and quality to the company.
- To prepare Profit and Loss forecast statement for all projects prior to the event.
- To assist Sales Team in developing project projections.
- To ensure timely delivery of Technical Bills of Quantities and obtain required approvals and respond to Commercial Team on a timely basis.
- To collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales & Operations) and suppliers to maximise profitability for the company.
- To build effective relationships to establish two way dialogues, establish professional trust and mutual respect with customers and suppliers.
- To monitor the production processes, identify defects and deviations and apply the appropriate corrections.
Basic Requirements
Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
Solid understanding of the Events Services industry, including suppliers and vendors.
Minimum 3 yearsâ proven experience as an Estimator in the Events, Exhibitions, or Conferences industry (essential).
