Job title:- Engineer - Automation/Instrumentation - I (Assistant)
Location: Spring House, Lower Gwynedd Township, PA
Duration:- 12 Months
Pay rate: $42/hr
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to operate automated laboratory equipment in support of clinical vaccine programs. Demonstrate the ability to follow established protocols and design new protocols to migrate assays from the bench to automated platforms. Contribute to the validation and implementation of novel automated workflows
Biomek system experience TOP skillset- looking for method development. Assays transitioning from bench to automated liquid handlers
Qualifications:
• B.S. in Engineering or Scientific field.
• 2yrs+ experience. 2+ yrs. real world experience.
• Expertise in liquid class and method development on a Biomek system top skillset.
• Basic understanding of Javascript/Visual Basic.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Heavily preferred: Experience with DART and the reporting system
Preferred:
• Proficiency in automated assay execution
• Experience with automation scheduling software, such as Thermo Momentum, Biosero . Button Go, or High Res Cellario
• Use of electronic laboratory notebooks
• Experience with GxP environment
