We are seeking a Data Visualization & Reporting Specialist to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing visualization reports within our Web Application. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Qlik Sense development and scripting, with the ability to integrate visualizations seamlessly into web applications that render effectively across both mobile and desktop screens. Experience with additional business intelligence (BI) tools and API-based integrations is highly desirable.

• Qlik Sense Development & Scripting:
• Build, enhance, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and custom reports.
• Write and optimize Qlik load scripts for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Create robust data models and optimize queries for performance.

• Integration & Deployment:
• Embed and integrate Qlik Sense reports and dashboards into existing web applications using APIs, mashups, or iframes.
• Ensure seamless rendering across mobile and desktop devices with responsive design considerations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployment pipelines and troubleshoot integration issues.

• Reporting & Insights:
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for end users.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions tailored to their needs.
• Maintain consistency, usability, and scalability of dashboards over time.

• Best Practices & Governance:
• Ensure accuracy, security, and performance of data visualizations.
• Document processes, data definitions, and design standards.
• Proactively recommend improvements to enhance usability and adoption.
  

• Strong expertise in Qlik Sense, including data load scripting, modeling, and visualization design.
• Hands-on experience embedding Qlik visualizations into web applications and optimizing for multi-device access (desktop & mobile).
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.
• Understanding of data analysis, visualization best practices, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

• Experience with API integration for data and visualization workflows.
• Ability to import/export JSON between Qlik and other visualization/reporting tools.
• Knowledge of additional BI platforms:
• Looker (Google Looker Studio / Looker)
• Domo
• Sisense
• AWS QuickSight

• Type: Contract with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance.
• Duration: Initial contract period to be agreed upon.
